Omotesando – a super prime location in Tokyo for investment

Dear international investors,

 

I went to survey land and some buildings on it in Omotesando  at my client’s request.   Omoesando is hugely popular not only among Japanese people but also among international ones.  Trendy fashion boutiques and international restaurants are abundant in this area; and you can recognize so many fashion brands  and international fast-food chains in Omotesando.

 

The footpath on which my client wanted to have a restaurant is a prime location of Omotesando.   It runs through a corner block in the popular Minamiaoyama 3-chome.  European restaurants and hair cut salons are crowding the footpath.   I am positive that many people are actually very interested to have their own business there.    Unfortunately, my client is one of many.

You must be wondering whether or not there will be investors who will beat this bid at all.  But I am certain that some individuals and companies are so interested in this real estate that they will overbid this number because Omotesando is and will be very popular and high returns in futhre are a surety.

Akasaka, Aoyama, & Azabu 4

Azabu (e.g. Higashiazabu, Nishiazabu, Minamiazabu, and Azabujuban) is one of the most popular residential district in Minato-ku among international people. 

 

Azabu means a linen cloth.  Since the edo period (1603-1867), it has been known for cites of temples and cemeteries.  In fact, many of condos and houses in the district are built on ex-properties of temples, including the land on which the  Roppongi Hills is built. 

 

 Because Azabu has many temples, the district has much greenery which belong to temples and houses and apartments are in proximity to it.  

 

Azabu now has convenient access to central parts of Tokyo.  Hiroo station and Azabujuban station, two key Tokyo Metro stations in Azabu, are directly connected to the center of Tokyo by Hibiya Line (for Hiroo station) and Namboku Line and Oedo Line (for Azabujuban station). 

 

The followings are main reasons why international people like Azabu:

– In proximity to international community (many embassies are in Azabu)

– In proximity to international grocery stores (e.g. National Azabu, Meijiya, Nissin, Hiroo shopping street, and Azabujuban shopping streets)

– In proximity to renowned general hospitals and Arisugawa Park

– Good access to central parts of Tokyo

 

Unlike Akasaka and Aoyama where many company headquarters are found, Azabu is exclusively residential.  Yet it would be worthwhile to invest on a building with retail space on the ground floor on a main shopping street in Azabu because the street is always bustling with shoppers.

I like Minato-ku because it has proximity to greenery.  You can find a green area at almost every corner of a town in Minato-ku. 
On the other day, for example, my client and I visited a 124-sq. meter, 1-bedroom (+1 Tatami room) in Motoazabu.  The condominium in which the apartment is is actually adjacent to the property of a historical temple which is covered with trees.  Because greenery of the temple is so close to the condo, you would probably feel as if the condo were standing in a forest.

Dear international investors,

 

Minato-ku (ward) in Tokyo is very popular among international people .  It is probably the single most popular place in Japan for residence.  In particular, so-called 3 As (Akasaka, Aoyama, and Azabu) are always bustling with people from different cultures.

 

 

In fact, many of our clients clearly show their strong interest to live in Minato-ku when they are asked where in Tokyo they would like to live in or to invest on.
