Mizue – a growing suburb of Tokyo

I surveyed real estate in Mizue of Edogawa-ku which is an eastern ward (=ku) of Tokyo 23 wards and which is adjacent to Chiba Prefecture.  It is in-between Arakawa and Edogawa – two famous rivers of Tokyo.

 

 

Mizue is a station of  Toei Shinjuku Line.  Mizue station is new just like much of Edogawa ward where new houses and apartment buildings are being built.  The streets around Mizue are crowded with shops and restaurants.  And houses and apartment buildings on southern residential areas of the station are new.

We have visited “Takanawa the Residence” this weekend, and these are pictures of inside of the apartment.

 
This unit is on the 29th floor and the view toward Roppongi area is pretty nice, and you can see Mt. Fuji under good weather
conditions.

 

 

Namboku line, Mita line is available. (6 min walk from Shirokane Takanawa station)
JR Shinagawa station is walkable distance from here. (around 15 min by walk, and one meter by taxi.)

 

 

Surrounding area is quiet and convinient and schools are around this builing such as Meiji Gakuin Univ and Tokai Univ.

 

 

Takanawa area used to be “Daimyou Yashiki” area and lots of rural Samurai had another house aside from their own “Shiro” in their own home country.

 

 

Shinagawa Station is not far from here and Shinagawa used to be an initial stay,”Shukuba machi”, for west area of Japan, such as Ise, Kyoto…(called “Tokaido 53 tsugi” famous trip route from east to west..)

 

 

Shirokane, Shirokane dai and Takanawa are quiet and popular Minato-ku area.
