National Tax Agency has announced roadside land prices across Japan to indicate benchmark numbers to calculate taxes, such as, inheritance tax and donation tax.\u00a0 The agency indicates land prices of approximately 380,000 spots across the nation.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n
Almost all of the surveyed locations have decreased in value\u00a0 for two consecutive years.\u00a0 Compared with average roadside land prices for 2009,\u00a0those for 2010 have\u00a0decreased 9.7% for Tokyo, 8.3% for Osaka, and 7.6% for Nagoya.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n
But\u00a0there is a positive sign\u00a0–\u00a0points lost are fewer than before; and it now looks that land prices are bottoming out.<\/p>\n
